Meet the Founder

Growing-up, I’ve always had a million ‘crazy’ ideas whizzing around in my head, and I’ve always had some sort of enterprising activity on the go; whether it was co-founding a Fair Trade initiative on the school grounds aged 12, receiving a distinction in enterprise aged 15, or building an import/export eBay business aged 18. I have to admit, despite the success of each of my ventures, I never thought of any of them as much more than an experiment, an adventure, a “let’s give this a go and see what happens” type of thing.....

Foodinate takes part in Manchester’s Big CEO Sleepout

This week, Foodinate took part in Manchester’s big CEO Sleepout, which is a charity that has been set up to raise awareness and to help fight poverty and homelessness, with events taking place across the whole of UK. The Manchester Sleepout took place at the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground, where Foodinate was joined by almost 100 senior-level employees from a vast range of industries. ..

Foodinate Awarded ‘Go-Do’ Award by Acceler8

April was an incredibly busy month for the Foodinate team. Our wonderful partners at George’s, Well Hung and Bangers and Bacon generated an outstanding 418 meals which can now be served at Manchester’s Booth Centre. April also saw Foodinate awarded a ‘Grow It’ grant from UnLtd, as well as winning the much-coveted 'Go-Do' award at the Entrepreneurial Spark 'Acceler8' event..
