What is Foodinate?
We are a social enterprise, teaming-up with your favourite restaurants to ensure every delicious Foodinate-featured meal you enjoy results in a meal for a local person in need. At no extra cost to you. Pretty cool, huh?
Will it cost me any money?
Absolutely not. Nothing is added to your bill, and there is no extra cost to you at all.
How can I take part?
Just rock-up to your favourite Foodinate-partnered restaurant and enjoy a Foodinate-featured meal - that’s it! The restaurant will cover the cost of one meal on your behalf, via the Foodinate initiative.
Where do the meals go?
The meals funded by the program are served by a variety of food-giving charities across the UK, such as homeless centres and soup kitchens, to maximise our impact and ensure the meals find their way to the people who need them most. We try to match each restaurant with a food-giving charity in the same area, so most of the support gathered in your area stays there, providing meals for people in need in your own community.
Who pays for the meal?
Our amazing partner restaurants pay for the meals. For every Foodinate-selected item you order, the restaurant will give funding to Foodinate to provide a nourishing meal for a local person in need via our food-giving partners.
Where can I find Foodinate-partnered restaurants?
For now, please check out our home page for featured Foodinating restaurants! However, Foodinate is gaining traction quickly so keep a close eye on this website and in the media for updates on our expanding list of participating restaurants! Lots and lots of amazing things will be happening over the coming weeks and months, and we cannot wait to keep sharing it all with you!
What else can I do to get involved?
1. Share, tweet, scream, dance, record the dance and post it online, then share, tweet, and scream about the dance… Connect with us here and start spreading the word!
2. Remember to tell the restaurants how darn awesome you think they are for being part of such a great cause!
3. Give yourself a high-five, because, well, you are a fantastic human being. And you deserve it.
